Model City Day Care Center is open from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All Children must be picked up from the center no later than 6:00 p.m. Any parent who leaves their child(ren) at the center after this time will be chaged $1.00 per minute per child. After 3 late pick-ups your child care services will be terminated. Model City is licensed to operate from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The actual hours of operation are based on need. Decrease in the hours of operation is at the discretion of the Board of Directors. |
Hours of Care |
| Hours of care for each child must fall within the Hours of Operation stated above. Otherwise, hours of care are based on the parent's work schedule. Parent's may leave their children at the center one-half hour before and one-half hour after their working hours with a ten minute grace period on arrival and departure. Any parent exceeding this time limit with grace period will be charged $1.25 per hour per child for extended service. This grace period DOES NOT extend after 6:00 p.m. |
Attendance |
| Notification must be given to the Center office when a child is absent. This includes, but not limited to, vacation days, hospitalization, or illness. As stated in the contract which is required before each child is enrolled, services are provided to "part-time students on a first come, first served basis subject to daily space availability as full-time students are given first priority." Parents of part-time students should call to check for availability each day. |
